Our Story

Andy, Terry and Cookie, meeting to discuss the day's business before the lunch crowd arrives.

Our story begins with a farmhouse.  Before Andy and Terry bought the Sellen House in 2004, and before it was relocated to Pumpkin Hill in 2001, there were two Pennsylvania farmhouse kitchens where our head chef, Suzanne "Cookie" Wheeler spent time with her grandmothers, learning to bake, to cook, and to enjoy the simple pleasures that define her relationship with food.

Today, located in a rustic farmhouse, lovingly referred to as the Sellen House, Cookie puts forth a comforting collection of farmhouse favorites like chicken pot pie, shepherd's pie, carrot cake, and lemon meringue pie, in addition to well composed salads, sandwiches, soups and burgers.  Using local, organic, and fresh ingredients, Cookie keeps our kitchen running much like her grandmothers did, a generation before.
